Our promise, in writing

A workmanship warranty in writing on every project

If something we built fails because of how we built it, we come back and fix it. That sentence is in your contract, and this page explains exactly how it works.

What the warranty covers

The warranty covers workmanship: the quality of what our hands built. If tile we set loosens, if trim joints we cut open up beyond normal seasonal settling, if a door we hung stops latching, if a connection we plumbed weeps, we come back and repair it at no cost for the warranty term stated in your contract. The test is simple: did it fail because of how we built it? If yes, it is ours to fix.

What it does not cover

  • Manufacturer failures. Appliances, fixtures, windows and materials carry their own manufacturer warranties. When a product fails on its own, the manufacturer claim is the right path, and we help you file it rather than leaving you to a call center.
  • Wear and maintenance. Caulk is maintenance, grout haze from never sealing is maintenance, and a finish worn through by a decade of use is life, not a defect.
  • Outside causes. Movement, leaks or moisture originating outside our scope of work, from the roof we did not touch or the slab that was always sloped, are diagnosed honestly: we will tell you what happened even when the answer is not a warranty claim.

How a claim works

  1. Call, text or email us. A photo and one sentence is enough.
  2. We confirm coverage and schedule the visit, usually within days, not weeks.
  3. We fix it, and if the fix touches anything else, we leave that right too.

No claim forms, no deductible, no relitigating the contract. The warranty exists so that a small failure stays small.

Why we can afford to promise this

A warranty is priced into how you build, not after. Permitted work inspected by the jurisdiction, licensed trades on the regulated scopes, and materials installed to the manufacturer's spec fail rarely, which is what makes a written warranty easy to stand behind. It is the same logic behind our written process and our bond and insurance: boring discipline up front, quiet years after.

Warranty questions

What does the workmanship warranty cover?

The work we performed: if something we built, installed or finished fails because of how it was built, installed or finished, we come back and repair it at no cost for the warranty term stated in your contract. Typical examples are tile that loosens, trim joints that open beyond normal settling, doors we hung that stop closing properly, or a fixture we installed that leaks at the connection.

What is not covered?

Product failures covered by the manufacturer (appliances, fixtures, windows have their own warranties, which we register or hand over to you), normal wear, damage from misuse or lack of maintenance, and movement or moisture problems that originate outside the work we did. When a manufacturer claim is the right path, we help you file it.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Call, text or email us with a photo and a sentence about what happened. We confirm it is covered, schedule the visit, and fix it. No forms, no fee, no argument about whose ladder it is.

Is the warranty actually in the contract?

Yes. The workmanship warranty in writing is written into your contract, not a verbal promise. A warranty that is not in writing is a mood, not a warranty.
