Who we are
Vancouver Remodeling Contractors is a residential remodeling team focused entirely on Vancouver and Clark County. All construction is performed by a Washington-registered general contractor, and the registration details appear on your written estimate and contract. The discipline the work demands, written scopes, plan review, inspection schedules, is the same on every project, whether it is a hall bath or a whole house.
This site is the home of our residential work: kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, additions, ADUs and basement finishing across Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Washougal and the unincorporated county.
How we are different
- Published pricing sources, not hidden numbers. Our cost guides cite the 2025 Cost vs. Value Report, Angi and HomeAdvisor by name, and your estimate is itemized in writing before work begins. In the local market we surveyed, almost nobody publishes numbers; we think you should see them first.
- Permit fluency across six jurisdictions. Vancouver, Clark County, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground and Ridgefield each permit differently, down to who issues electrical permits. Our permit guide maps all of it, and we file everything.
- The sales tax is in the estimate. Washington contractors collect retail sales tax on the full contract price of a custom remodel. We put it in writing up front instead of letting it surprise you at contract time; our sales tax guide explains the rule.
- A workmanship warranty in writing. In writing, in your contract. See how the warranty works.
- Registered work, easy to verify. Every project is built by a Washington-registered general contractor, with the registration details on your written estimate so you can check them in a minute on L&I Verify.
Registration, in the open
Washington's contractor law, RCW 18.27, requires registration, a bond and insurance of anyone performing construction. All work on our projects is performed by a Washington-registered general contractor, and the registration details appear on your written estimate and contract before you sign anything. We encourage you to verify any contractor with L&I before you hire them; our post on verifying a Washington contractor shows you how in two minutes.
